I went to London to visit the graduate exhibition for the MA Children’s Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art. It was at the Candid Gallery in Angel, Islington.
There was so much amazing work to see, it took me about two hours to walk around and admire.
It was brilliant (and daunting) to see the quality of the work on show, and think about what my class will be doing this time next year. It made me really proud to be on the course, and determined to make some work that was good enough to be in the exhibition. Something to live up to.
Excellent bunting. (The blue chap featured was created by Hrefna Bragadottir.)
There are loads more photos to see at this blog post by graduate Ariane Hofmann-Maniyar, which is very thorough and gives you a great idea of what the show was like.
The very best of luck to all the graduates and well done on creating such a wonderful exhibition!
